Halloween ABC Grades Sprint Meet
Sunday, 29th October 2017

Meet Conditions
1 The promoter for this event is Mr J Mr J Exton.
2 The Competition will be held under ASA Law & technical rules.
3 Over the top starts may be used at the Lead Referee’s discretion.
4 All individual events will be heat declared winners.
5 The pool is 25m long, 8 lanes with anti wave lane ropes and electronic timing.
6 Age Groups are 9 yrs, 10yrs, 11/12yrs, 13/14 yrs, and 15yrs & over. Ages are as at midnight 29th October 2017.
7 All entries must show the Full date of birth and age on day of each swimmer.
8 Entries MUST be sent using our online entry system. Paper/Email entries will not be accepted. In the event that the meet is under subscribed or there are a large number of withdrawals additional entries from swimmers already accepted to the meet may be offered. Poolside entries are at the discretion of the entries manager.
9 Entry times are to be based on 25m pool times or converted 50m pool times by use of the ASA Conversion Tables.
10 Swimmers may enter in B grade for some events and C grade for others.
11 Swimmers may enter the Individual Medley event only if they have entered at least one other individual event.
12 The closing date for entries is midnight 14th September 2017 or when the meet is declared full - whichever is earliest and refers the final date on which entries must be submitted through the on-line entry system.
13 Entries are accepted on the 'first come, first served basis' only.
14 Should entries be over-subscribed, the promoter reserves the right to limit entries by rejection of the last entries received. Session times and event schedules may be altered to take account of any distortion or imbalance in entries. Any changes to session times or event schedule will be notified at least two weeks prior to the meet.
15 Check-in lists will be provided for each club which must be completed and handed to the technical team by the deadline, which will be announced on the day.
16 The fees for this event are £5 for each individual entry. Strictly no refunds for withdrawals after the closing date.
17 In each event and grade, points will be awarded to the top six in each age group and grade (6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1). Points will be totalled for Top Boy, Top Girl and Top Club overall. If there is a tie on points, awards will be given to the swimmer/club with the most 1st places, etc. No points are awarded for speeding tickets.
18 Trophies/medals/awards will be made for each event to the first six in each gender, age group and grade. All awards should be collected from the awards table during the meet.
19 Any swimmer swimming faster than the cut-off time for their entered grade will receive a Speeding Ticket which should be collected from the Awards table during the course of the meet.
20 The winner of each heat will recieve a cirtificate which should be collected from the awards table during the course of the meet.
21 Coaches MUST wear passes provided at all times whilst on poolside. Only swimmers with accepted entries and Coaches/Team Managers with a valid Coaches pass will be allowed on Poolside. Each team will have a designated poolside area.
22 Coach passes are priced at 15.00 each and include programme, start lists, Buffet Lunch and full access to results through our website which will be published on the day of the meet.
23 Coaches and Team Managers are wholly responsible for the conduct of their swimmers during the course of the meet, including warm-ups which must be supervised.
24 Admission for spectators will be 5.00 per session, 8.00 for a full day, concessions 3/5, which will be sold in advance. Programmes will be on sale for 2. The spectator area will be cleared between sessions.
25 Any point not covered by these rules will be at the discretion of the Lead Referee.
